    An interest in technology was sparked early in founder Mark Lang, who worked in a computer store while still at school before moving to a larger technical firm as a salesman. He honed his technical skills in the trenches of the BHP helpdesk and at the Goonyella coal mine site. After returning to Brisbane and a stint at an SME, Mark decided to start his own business – this business.

    Rob Banister, Chief Technical Officer

    With 20+ years of diverse IT experience in Australia, the UK and Canada, Rob’s prior positions have included System Engineering and Design roles at Alphawest (a SingTel Group company); Telus (a telecommunications giant); multinational professional services firm KPMG and global investment bank Lehman Brothers.     diploma led to complex work handling IT for conventions and bigger businesses. In June 2009, Rob joined Infotech Solutions from Empired, a national IT company based in Melbourne. There he specialised in IT infrastructure design for clients across the Asia Pacific region.

    Holding Cisco, Citrix, Microsoft, NetApp, and VMWare certifications for both sales and engineering, Rob is the subject matter expert for end-to-end solutions and the authority for multiple Cloud systems. As a senior IT leader, Rob confidently advises businesses and provides guidance and leadership to the broader team.

    A natural aptitude for IT emerged early on for Glenn, who got his start working in local computer stores performing PC and peripheral repairs. These initial experiences sparked an interest in Networking, which is now his area of expertise.   • Jason Shaw

    Jason Shaw, Technical Account Manager

    After completing a Bachelor of Information Systems at university, Jason joined a Managed Service Provider (MSP) in 2005. He was seconded to Gladstone to work on-site for a large mining client and was promoted quickly to Team Leader. On his return to Brisbane, he assumed responsibility for a large hospitality client with complex needs – a role that involved regular visits to the business’
